Hello Coach Jarrod!

I’m not sure if you remember me, but this is Mya. I took classes with you from 2018 to 2020 fairly consistently until I basically disappeared. I just wanted to let you know that your coaching, teaching, and kindness still leave a mark on me today. You have taught me so many leadership skills that I still hold true, along with your amazing coaching skills that have led me to develop my technique as an aerialist in Lyra and aerial silks (soon to be aerial chains) If you don’t know what those are, then I suggest looking them up, along with looking at some of my silly training videos! Thanks to you and your words, I haven’t given up, I’m doing music like I’ve always wanted to, no longer confining myself to simple definitions about me that only describe the outside, and you taught me that. So I’m writing to say thank you. Thank you for everything you’ve ever done for me. The little talks we’d have, you yelling at me to get a move right when I thought I couldn’t do it, you comforting me when my body was breaking down almost to the point of no return, and starving myself to fit into this mold. But thanks to you, I no longer like that mold. I like, nay, love who I am, and you truly were a massive part of how I figured that out. Thank you for everything you’ve ever done for me, physically and mentally. I hope you’re having an amazing life coach. I truly hope you’re still staying strong, healthy, and true to yourself.
